KTEC High School is sharing the release of our first Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) School Report Card.

This milestone provides valuable insight into our progress and areas of focus as we continue building on our commitment to educational excellence.

Our initial rating on the report card is “Meets Few Expectations.” It is important to note that this score is based on only two years of data from a small group of students, and several measures are currently unavailable due to this limited sample size and timeframe. Key data, including attendance and post-high school readiness, reflect only the 2022-23 school year.

Despite these limitations, we are proud to highlight notable achievements that align with the KTEC High School Portrait of a Graduate. During our first year (2022-23):

  • 79.1% of students earned college credit in at least one college course
  • 81.4% of students obtained at least one industry-recognized credential

These accomplishments reflect our dedication to preparing students for real-world success.

Although ACT scores are not the main focus of our educational model, we remain committed to enhancing our students’ skills in English Language Arts and math. This year, we have integrated additional time into student schedules for skill-building in these areas, supported by tools like Aleks Math and Achieve 3000. Additionally, we are implementing NWEA’s Measures of Academic Progress to create personalized learning plans that support individual student growth.
